Privacy

1. Information Collection: We collect information from users during the order dialogue of the software. Here a user provides us amongst others with contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date).

2. Internal Information Use: Information is used to administrate customer's orders, for example for billing purposes or to get in touch with the user in case we need extra information.

3. Information Sharing: We will not sell or rent information to any of our business partners or to any third party and we will not let any of our business partners or any third party share information, except we are forced to do so by state or federal law. We will transfer information only to business partners involved into the administration of customer's orders (for security see 5.).

4. Online Security: All information send via the internet or any other approved transfer net, especially from the software, is encrypted with industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology. We ask that users revisit our website not only to keep in line with our actual privacy policy but, above all, to upgrade the software for safety reasons if offered.

5. Offline Security: User may protect information stored on his computer against unwanted access in his sole discretion. Within our business any access to deciphered information and to any deciphering key is restricted to certain employees and to certain business partners. Every involved employee is sworn to secrecy and kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every involved business partner, whose terms and conditions of sale does not explicitly state an adequate way of dealing with information is also sworn to secrecy.

6. Supplementation of Information: It may be necessary for us to supplement the information we receive as described above with information from 3rd party sources. For example, to determine if a customer qualifies for a delivery on invoice, we may use part of the information to request a credit report. Once the purpose of such an act is fulfilled we destroy any document which contains supplemented information.
